I have known Ms. Tanya Smythe since 2009 having purchased a large property (38 acres and 8,000 square foot home with 5 acre lake) she listed at 5306 STATE ROAD 144. During the purchase process she worked very closely with my Buyer’s agent and we effected a purchase efficiently and at a very reasonable price.Subsequent to living on the property, my spouse passed away almost 4 years later and decided immediately to sell the property for many reasons. I decided to list the property very shortly thereafter assuming it would take 1-2 years to sell because of its list price. However, fortunately with Tanya’s excellent abilities I was able to sell and close within 6 months. The sale was complex, but Tanya’s expertise and selling savy was crucial to making it happen as it involved me purchasing multiple properties which were subsequently immediately sold in addition to dividing the land amongst a family situation.Tanya is very professional and can make a sale happen in the most challenging of situations. I actually had interviewed two other realtors when placing my 5306 SR 144 on the market, but was most comfortable with Tanya’s expertise, experience and abilities. Tanya has worked a long time in the profession on the South side and as a consequence has a network of high end sellers and buyers. Many of the properties she handles are high end though she also works in the median price range also. What is most crucial is her unique ability to make sales happen through innovative approaches. She is one of the best in keeping homeowners informed and tracks the market carefully during the listing period. I can only say that she is certainly the best on the south side of Indianapolis. When I first met her she was working for a subsidiary realty company of Duke Homes. I always thought she had the fortitude and capability to go on her own and eventually did so. She has been extremely successful in operating her own company and has expanded accordingly because of the activity she obtains as both a listing and buyer’s agent.
